In the same spirit as the creation of the infamous Phantom Instrument where the entire watch was black, the Gold Ingot takes one color to the extreme. Every part of the 46mm watch-case and dial are crafted out of solid 18 karat rose gold and impeccably finished with satin and glossy finishes, and a hobnail pattern for the dial. The black, semi-glossy alligator strap finishes off the intense elegance of the Gold Ingot.
The BR Vintage collections are a welcome addition to the current line of Bell & Ross watches. They incorporate the unique, stylistic character of the brand with everything that works about the current Vintage collection and authentically capture the style of actual vintage timepieces. The black, carbon-coated case of the new Bell & Ross BR Vintage watches is 41 mm wide. The flat bezel draws a subtle parallel between these and the BR-Instruments, but overall the BR Vintages are in a much more mainstream class of timepieces ideal for more regular or conservative use. While achieving this, Bell & Ross did not abandon any of its unique stylistic traits that distinguish the BR V123s (time and date) and V126s (chronographs) from the sea of vintage-inspired watches that exist.

The Vintage collection, inspired by the 1940s

The Vintage Carbon, inspired by the cockpit
Bell & Ross has combined the authenticity of vintage watches with the legibility of cockpit instrument panels, all in a single watch. Each aspect of the watch is a testament to these design principles:
A vintage casing for a modern watch
• The round casing, traditional in form, evokes memories of the wristwatch of a bygone era, ergonomically adapted for the comfort required by today’s men.
• The anti-glare matte black carbon finish is inspired by the color of an airplane’s instrument panel, which uses contrast to facilitate the reading of the dials, eliminating any glare.
• The vintage curved glass is produced from sapphire crystals using techniques perfected over the years. The choice of this highly scratch resistant material is reminiscent of materials used in on- board instrumentation.
• The natural leather strap, like the watches of old, develops a rich patina over time.
A vintage dial with perfect legibility
The dial, with its classic design, optimizes legibility, taking its inspiration from an airplane’s dashboard clocks.The finish of the hands, index and the numerals is sand-colored, evoking the color of the dials in older watches.
