The Bell & Ross Type Demineur watch epitomizes the purposeful form-inspired-by-function ethic that drives this focused brand. Well-known for producing watches which meet the most stringent professional demands, Bell & Ross scores yet again with the Type Demineur timepiece--a tool created for the split-second high pressure field of bomb disposal on dry land or beneath the water. However, this watch's handsome straightforward design, functionality, and comfort make it equally well-suited for any sporting requirement.

The heart of the Bell & Ross Type Demineur watch is an impressively precise 7-jewel Swiss ETA quartz movement; in addition to its great timekeeping performance, this reliable motor is immune to the effects of magnetic fields. Bell & Ross BR 01-94 Full Diamonds watch

The Bell & Ross BR 01-94 Full Diamonds Chronograph watch is a provocative sports timepiece which daringly marries the brute aesthetic of the pilot's chronograph with the allure and glamorous sparkle of fine diamonds. Like the entire collection of Bell & Ross BR 01 Instrument watches, the Full Diamonds watch is a timepiece whose durability and performance under stress is assured. At the same time, however, this watch is also a dazzling conversation piece, and a unique piece of jewelry.

The case of the Bell & Ross BR 01-94 Full Diamonds Chronograph watch case in 316L stainless steel, which has been pave set with brilliant-cut diamonds on the bezel, caselugs, and the top and sides of the case, amounting to over four carats total weight. The mother of pearl dial, complete with bold Arabic numerals is both elegant and exceptionally legible, sharing the same design as other Bell & Ross aviator watches; the luminous hands and hour markers enable outstanding performance in low or nonexistent light conditions.

Despite its dazzling appearance, the Bell & Ross BR 01-94 Full Diamonds Chronograph watch is exceptionally tough, resistant to both shocks and water; thanks to a fully insulated case, and a screw-down crown, the watch is fully water-resistant to a depth of 100 meters. Within the case, lies an excellent self-winding ETA mechanical movement.

With a proven track-record of reliability and precise performance, this caliber offers a rapidly adjustable date display, in addition to a chronograph function that can measure time intervals within 30 minutes, or up to 12-hours in duration; the subdial by 3 o'clock indicates continually running small seconds, and is independent from the chronograph. The Bell & Ross BR 01-94 Full Diamonds watch is completed by a fine alligator-skin strap which is available in several colors; thanks to the well-engineered design of the caselugs, various straps can be easily interchanged to suit the desires of the moment.

Bell Ross BR 01 Passes the Phantom Torch to the BR 03-92 Watches

Bell & Ross was one of the original companies to offer an all-black watch. The BR-01 Phantom was offered as a limited edition of 500 pieces of the basic model and 500 of the chronograph. The Phantom attracted a lot of attention and both models sold out faster then any other color BRs offered by the manufacturer. The Bell & Ross BR 03 Phantom picks up where its BR-01 big brother left off. It has a limited production run of 500 pieces per year, and promises to be quite a popular watch.

The dial on the BR-03 92 Phantom is surprisingly easy to read. The painted hour markers are thick and wide, therefore raised over the dial. They consist of a healthy dose of black photo-luminescent paint, which makes the watch even easier to read when the lights are turned off. I have found in similar watches from other companies that the black markers take longer to "charge" then light colored ones. This means that if you do not hold the watch directly under a light source for five minutes it does not glow in the dark very well. The BR Phantom dials, on the other hand, have a strong, green glow even after regular wear during the day.

The case of the BR-03s, as probably most Bell & Ross enthusiasts already know, is a 42mm square. Very few people have tried on a BR-03 and found it to be too large on their wrists. As can be imagined, this is not the case for the 46mm BR-01 watches. This is probably the main reason why the BR-03s were introduced in the first place. The case is bulky, but still pretty low profile with a thickness just under 10mm. The lugs are slightly curved allowing the strap to fit more snugly on the wrist. All around the BR-03 92 is a very comfortable watch, and thanks to its "genuine military specifications" is perfect for every day use either at the office or at the beach.

All-black is the new black. Bell & Ross was a pioneer in this respect, and helped make the low-contrast style as popular as it is today.

Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Watch Metal (Stainless Steel) Bracelet

It finally happened, Bell & Ross is giving everyone's favorite square watch a metal bracelet. Actually, let me clarify. They are testing it out on the BR03 watch models. Seen here is one of the first of these types... maybe the first ever in a retail store. It is the BR03-92 watch with the new style metal bracelet that you can now get in addition to the rubber or other straps available with this watch line.

Bell & Ross does not currently have any plans to give the larger BR01 (46mm wide) watches a bracelet at this time. They are merely seeing how it goes with the smaller BR03 (42mm) models. It seems to make sense and feels like a visually comfortable fit. Like the straps, the bracelet tapers from the case down to the clasp a bit so that it does not feel unwieldy on your arm. The design is a bit retro, and the bracelet is done with a brushed finish on the top side, with polishing on the sides I believe. The inner side of the bracelet has a middle link that holds the larger links together. You get that nice clean vertical link look on the outside of the bracelet. The bracelet moves nicely and is flexible enough for what you'll need to do with it.

As you can see in one of the photos with the price tag, a Bell & Ross BR03-92 on the metal bracelet retails for $3,700. Quite a pretty penny (but that is the starting point of course). You can a lot of style and a good brand with a Bell & Ross. So while they are pricey, they use high grade Swiss ETA movements in most models (an automatic 2892-A2 in this pictured model), and tend to have a high buyer satisfaction.

Bell & Ross has created a stir among watch aficionados with the BR 01 watch design; its striking, wrist-filling, square profile and easily interchangeable straps have redefined the sports parameter. The Bell & Ross BR 01-96 Big Date watch is animated by the time-proven and reliable automatic ETA 2896 caliber, which has been carefully adjusted and decorated by the Bell & Ross watchmakers. This movement features a rapidly adjustable big date display, which utilizes two discs for optimal legibility, and it also offers a central sweep seconds hand. Bell & Ross gives this fine mechanism optimum protection, placing it within a massive 46mm case that is crafted from 316L stainless steel; thanks to its robust shock-protected construction, and fully insulated screw-down crown, the BR 01-96 Big Date watch is water resistant to 100 meters, and ideally suited for the most demanding of adventures.

The Bell & Ross BR 01-96 Big Date watch is available with a choice of either a white, or black galvanic dial. Bell & Ross Mystery Diamond watch

The Bell & Ross Mystery Diamond watch demonstrates a sparkling, feminine side to this purpose-oriented brand universally known for making uncompromising sports and professional timepieces. Women seeking a watch which unites sporty elements with the elegance of diamonds will find that Bell & Ross has produced an outstanding range of products to meet this demand. Bell & Ross crafts each Mystery Diamond timepiece from 316L stainless steel or 18K gold, which is given an impeccable highly polished finish.

Not just beautiful, this 34mm case is also highly protective of its fine movement, and is water resistant to 50 meters, thanks to the screw-in crown and screwed-down caseback. The Bell & Ross Mystery Diamond watch offers a unique technical surprise-the hours of this timepiece are indicated by a single diamond that appears to float in mid-air as it orbits the dial. A sapphire disc which bears the diamond takes the place of the ordinary hour hand, transforming the utilitarian function provided by a watch into something effervescent, beautiful and entertaining. This striking time display is supported by an excellent ETA automatic movement, which has a power-reserve of approximately 40 hours when fully wound. A date display, discreetly placed at six o'clock on the watch's dial is also a highly desirable feature.

The Bell & Ross Mystery Diamond timepieces appear in a wide array of model options. The Mystery Diamond White versions have a silvery white dial, while the Mystery Diamond Black displays a scintillating metallic black dial; both of these variations share the detail of a fine guilloche decorative pattern, as well as a multitude of strap options, and bezels which are polished, engraved with 5-minute intervals, or entirely set with round brilliant-cut diamonds. A precious model, the Mystery Diamond Gold, is also available, and features a luxurious case crafted entirely from 18K white gold or 18K yellow gold.
