Measuring 41mm in diameter, the polished stainless steel case of this Bell & Ross chronograph watch is equipped with a winding crown and chronograph pushers which screw down. United with a screw-locking caseback, the timepiece is warranted water resistant to an impressive 200 meters. The extremely hard, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal is surrounded by a bidirectionally rotating bezel that is graduated for a 60 minute scale, permitting a useful short-term time measurement capability.
The Bell & Ross Type Aeronavale watch is equipped with a mechanical movement ideally suited for high pressure situations both within and outside of the cockpit. Carefully adjusted by the Bell & Ross watchmakers, the selfwinding ETA 2894 caliber offers precise timekeeping as well as excellent reliability. The watch can record short term intervals within 30-minutes, as well as longer term periods up to 12 hours, in addition to showing continuous running seconds, and indicating the date. Fully wound, this Bell & Ross timepiece will continue to run for 42 hours when removed from the wrist.
Bell & Ross has fitted the Pilot Sapphire Type Aeronavale Chronograph watch with a sporty matte black dial decorated with large and instantly readable luminous Arabic numerals and arrow shaped hands. Tastefully displayed in the subsidiary seconds subdial at six o'clock is the distinctive logo of the French Naval Air Force fighters. This limited edition Bell & Ross timepiece can be obtained with a matching brushed and polished stainless steel bracelet, or a classic calfskin strap.
