Jonathan Ellery Makes Handmade Bell & Ross Watch For Wallpaper Magazine

Prestigious design magazine Wallpaper chose Bell & Ross to realize a unique watch for their HandMade issue.

The choice has been made thanks to the creativity of the brand and the iconic status of Bell & Ross watches. Handpicked to work together, Bell&Ross are delighted to have collaborated with Jonathan Ellery in creating a one off unique watch. The artwork for this timepiece is based on Bell & Ross BR01-92 Radar watch, in which three concentric circles rotate to indicate hours, minutes and seconds. This take is a conceptual piece, and telling the time by it requires mastering its rotational rhythms; the explosive motif comes together only twice in 24 hours as the circles rotate.

Bell & Ross launches site for iPad

Watch brand Bell & Ross proves it can keep up with the times with the launch of a special new website for iPad users.

The brand, which claims it was the first watch brand to create an iPhone application in March 2009, is planning to use this latest application to confirm its position in the rapidly expanding online market.

The specially created website provides essential Bell & Ross information in four sections. These first two sections are The Brand, which gives a background of the company and The Collections, which displays its most current designs. The latter two sections offer a list of 500 authorised retailers around the world and recent information on Bell & Ross.

The site will be available in both French and English, and those with Blackberries or iPhones can already log on to the website at bellross.com.

This Bell & Ross watch is small, smarter and sleek.This BR-S Gold Ivory Dial watch from the BR Instrument collection includes ETA 7001,mechanical manual winding movement,the independent small second counter at the 6 o’clock position. The case is 39 mm and the case is also made of grey gold 18K. The dial is made of ivory and the hour and minute hands are blue. Bell & Ross BR 01 Carbon Fiber Watch-BR 01-92 / BR 01-94

Bell & Ross has a big surprise for all fans of the brand and all watch lovers – they have created a watch sculptured entirely from carbon fibre, including the case, dial and strap.

The Instrument BR 01 Carbon Fiber watch, inspired by aeronautical construction techniques, boasts the case fashioned in one block made of carbon fibre layers that are superimposed over each other. The Bell & Ross watchmakers have opted for carbon fibre as this is an ultra-light and remarkably strong material that provides supreme comfort of wearing and improves the case solidity.

The solidity of the high-tech-architecture case is further strengthened by the bezel and upper plate with angle ribs.

The case construction, measuring 46 mm diameter, incorporates a screw-in crown and is 100-meter water-resistant.

The new Bell & Ross watch is available in two variations - one equipped with an automatic chronograph movement with the date function and the other fitted with an automatic movement. Every version is limited to 500 pieces.

The carbon fiber dial offers perfect legibility under any light conditions – its indexes, numerals and hands are provided with photo-luminescent coating. The dial of the chronograph version is completed with three counters for 12 hours, 30 minutes and 60 seconds. The dial is shielded by anti-reflection sapphire crystal.

The bold look of the Bell & Ross watch is enhanced by a carbon fiber strap.
