The Bell & Ross BR01 Instrument Tourbillon watch is a sophisticated timekeeping creation based on the remarkable success of the BR 01 INSTRUMENT collection.
Bell & Ross invited most experienced Swiss master watchmakers to create the extraordinary movement for the timepiece. As a result, the BR 01 Tourbillon boasts four complicated functions:the hours are presented in a counter at 12 o’clock (while the minutes are indicated by the central hand);the 120-hour power reserve indicator is found at at 9 o’clock;the trust index is positioned at 3 o’clock;the Tourbillon highlights the dial in an aperture at 6 o'clock.
The BR 01 Tourbillon manual winding movement incorporates carbon fibre bridges and mainplates and a black gold tourbillon carriage. The mechanism provides perfect accuracy. The Trust Index keeps the watch's owner aware of the accuracy of the movement, according to the tension on the barrels.
The hands, numbers and index are coated with white, photo-luminescent material, creating a distinctive contrast with the black dial to guarantee optimum readability under any light conditions. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating.
The Bell & Ross BR01 Instrument Tourbillon watch paralyzes the glance by its high-tech architecture based on technologically advanced materials. The case of the watch, 46 mm in diameter, is crafted from DLC-coated (Diamond Like Carbon) titanium at 4 000 Vickers HV. The dial of the watch is carbon fiber.Screws on the caseback,opening the view to the movement through a sapphire crystal.Water resistant to 100-meter.
The bezel and the angled ribs of the upper plate further improve the robust look of the case. The middle-case is hollowed out of the rim to make the whole structure lighter, still maintaining the solidity of the case. Each opening is trimmed with a carbon fiber insert.
The timepiece also incorporates a unique system of removable fasteners used to easily convert the wristwatch into a desk clock, clock pendant or dashboard ornament. It is presented on a titanium and carbon fiber desk stand.
The Bell & Ross BR01 Instrument Tourbillon watch is available with two interchangeable straps – it may be secured to the wrist on a rubber or black alligator strap. It is housed in a lacquered wood and carbon presentation box.
